He completed his secondary education at Akçaabat Imam Hatip High School (1981-1988), his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Letters, Department of History (1994), and his Master's and PhD studies at Gazi University Institute of Social Sciences (1994-2002). He worked as a teacher in Ankara between 1995-2009. During this period, with the examination and assignment of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Cultural Commission, he worked as a "lecturer" in the Turkish Department of the Eastern Languages Department of the Faculty of Philology, Harkov Skovorada State Pedagogical University (ХГПУ им. Сковороды), in Kharkiv, Ukraine, between 2004 and 2007. In 2009, he moved to Aksaray University, Department of History as a "lecturer". In 2012, he became an "associate professor of history" in the field of Modern and Modern Age. Although he was successful again in the international lecturer exam held by the Inter-Ministerial Joint Culture Commission in Ankara on April 2, 2014, he continued his duty at Aksaray University. In 2017 Prof. Dr. was appointed to the staff. He held administrative positions such as dean, vice dean, department head and faculty board member. Besides English, he speaks Russian and Arabic at a basic level and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazines Mütefekkir and Genç Kalemler. During his deanship, he provided the formation, management and management of the team that brought the national journal Mütefekkir to the level of Ulakbim TR Index and then to SCOPUS, the international scanning and indexing system. He has more than 50 articles, papers and books published nationally and internationally on the Economic and Social History of the Ottoman Empire.
